we focus on women owned businesses, women made goods, and fair trade collectives. approximately half of our merchandise is made in the usa and the other half is sourced from countries all over the globe.
wonderful pdx jewelry & gifts was brought to life by owner elisa lazo de valdez. she was born in lima, peru and has lived in multiple places, but considers the pnw home.
after graduating with a degree in design and advertising, elisa pursued careers in the graphic arts; retail management and display; bookkeeping; and 15 years in editorial and creative photography.
this acquired skill set lent itself beauitfully to opening her own gift boutique, where she can indulge her love of design and display; enjoy the zen of a balanced spreadsheet; and shop til she drops finding unique items to fill the store.
